Girls of 5 to 18 years have fun and learn skills that develop their self-confidence and community responsibility.
Guides meet weekly for one to two hours during the school term. Meetings are usually held at the local Guide Hall.
Girls work in small groups, called Patrols through their Patrol activities, Guides gain:
- personal and communication skills
- teamwork skills
- decision making and leadership skills
- a respect for their environment, and
- a sense of community.
Camps offer girls the chance to:
- enjoy being outdoors
- try boating, abseiling, skiing, and
- attend campfires
