Sensory Gardens are located at Terilbah Reserve, North Entrance. The gardens are a joint project of Wyong Shire Council and Lions Club of The Entrance and was officially opened in August 2001. These gardens are filled with native trees and plants, has a viewing platform overlooking the beautiful Tuggerah Lakes, pathways, bridges, restful seats and all weather shelters. Spring and Summer are the best times to view the gardens; however a visit at any time is most enjoyable. The garden  is constructed so that it is wheel chair friendly and suitable for all people and ages. A special feature of the garden of course is the sensory aspect.  People who have no sight are able to feel, touch and smell the many aromas and textures of the Australian bush.
